I bring a fresh and energetic style to family photography, creating a relaxed and natural atmosphere where you can simply be yourselves. I'll be constantly observing and documenting, photographing every moment from start to finish. Whether that's cuddled up on the sofa, running fully clothed into the ocean or getting your wellies on and heading to the woods.

THE PROCESS
A clearer look into the full process and behind the scenes of your family photography.
Before the session
I take on a limited number of family sessions each year so I can give every family my full time, energy and attention.
I’ll send over my online booking manager with everything you need to secure a date. Once your booking is confirmed, we can start thinking about the little details that will make the session feel like you.
Before the shoot, we’ll chat about location, timing, what to wear and anything else that will help everything feel relaxed and natural. I’ll also think carefully about the light and setting so we can make the most of our time together.
During the session
I want you to be able to relax, enjoy the time together and forget about the camera while I pay attention to all the little moments unfolding around you.
I’ll gently guide you when it helps, but for most of the shoot I’m simply watching and anticipating, looking for beautiful light, genuine connection, the way you naturally interact and all those little in-between moments that make your family yours.
After the session
After your session, a huge part of my work is only just beginning.
Every photograph in your final gallery is individually selected and edited by me, with a huge amount of care going into creating the clean, polished finish you see throughout my work.
Alongside colour, light and composition, high-end retouching is included as part of my process. I carefully remove distracting elements where needed, so that nothing takes away from the moment itself. It’s a slow and considered process, but one that I believe makes all the difference.
You’ll receive a selection of previews within one week of your photo shoot, with your full gallery ready within 8 weeks - carefully curated, beautifully finished and ready for you to look back on for years to come.
